That total leaves out the domain name, which you buy from a registrar in your own name, and any content or design changes, which we quote by scope. Hosting is in our price. Ask every other provider what their price includes, and put the totals side by side.
Why the domain should be in your name
ICANN's Transfer Policy gives the registered name holder of a domain the authority to approve or deny its transfer. What a quote should not promise
Nobody can sell you a position on Google. Google's own advice on hiring an SEO says no one can guarantee a number one ranking and that you should look elsewhere if a company does. If a quote promises a place on the first page for a fixed fee, the fee is paying for a promise.
